Lenovo has introduced two new smartphones under its highly popular K series - the Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. Both sports premium metal unibody designs and come with Dolby ATMOS powered speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz Snapdragon 415 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.
It sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities, while the front facing snapper is 5-megapixel. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity. It is backed by 2750mAh battery.
The Lenovo K5 Plus is the international variant of Lemon 3. It sports 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display and is powered by Snapdragon 616 processor. Other specification are same as Vibe K5 including 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE and 2750mAh battery.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 is priced at $129 (Rs. 9,000), while the Vibe K5 Plus costs $149 (Rs. 10,000) and comes in Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray color. They will be available starting from March 2016.
