LG has revealed through its social media that its next flagship, the LG G5 will be announced on February 21, a day before Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 kicks-off.
"Come meet new friends on the playground," reads the invite, suggesting that LG has more than one major announcement at the event happening on February 21. One Possibility is the announcement of LG 360 VR, suggested by Evan Blass.
The event will take place at Sant Jordi Club, Barcelona, Spain at 14:00 CET (18:30 IST). It's worth mentioning that Samsung will also introduce its next Galaxy flagship, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge on the same day.
According to rumors LG G5 will have a slightly curved all-metal premium body and sport a modular design with some sort of a Magic Slot expansion port that would enable some functional expansion using modules. The G5 is said to comes with 5.3-inch Quad HD display along with a ticker display that was seen on the V10. It will be equipped with Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, dual 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Fingrprint sensor and a 2800mAh battery. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshamllow.
