LG G5 visits Geekbench, gets teased by Spigen


LG's upcoming flagship, the G5 has passed the Geekbench benchmarking website, revealing some details of its specs. In addition, Spigen, well known for its protective smartphone cases and accessories has teased the LG G5.

As per the benchmark results, the LG G5 codenamed LGE LG-F700S (thought to be 'S' for SK Telecom variant) is powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC, packs 4GB RAM and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The G5 got a score of 2248 on single-core and 5061 on multi-core segments.


In related, recently a Rugged Armor case made by Spigen for the LG G5 surfaced on Amazon listing, and now the popular case maker has confirmed that it will provide cases for the G5. Spigen on its twitter account has teased the LG G5, that shows the dual-camera setup, flash, laser auto focus and fingerprint sensor on the rear. The volume rocker have been moved from back (on LG G5 and others) to the left side. The LG G5 will have a significantly altered design as compared to LG G4.

Earlier today LG introduced Quick Cover case for the LG G5 and a day before, revealed that the LG G5 will have an "Always On" display mode. The LG G5 will be announced on February 21 in Barcelona, Spain, a day before MWC 2016 kicks off.
