News:Kanye West Wishes Taylor Swift 'the Best' After Calling Her 'Fake Ass' in Leaked Audio
The rapper was calm and cool when asked by a reporter whether Swift should have showed him more respect at the recent Grammys.
Looks like Kanye West is not bothered by the interesting week he had after feuding with Taylor Swift. The rapper was wearing his smile and mild attitude when boarding a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday, February 17. He even wished Swift "the best".
West, whose rant about Swift was caught in a leaked audio, was swarmed by photographers and paparazzi on his way inside the airport. Asked whether Swift should show him more respect, West said, "no." He went on explaining, "It's like, I want the best for that person, but there's people going through real issues out here."
West continued by changing the focus and saying, "There's people out of work. There's people in debt that can't make it out of the debt. There's people that's in debt that don't have a shoe. There's people that are in debt that don't have a hit album out also - you know what I'm saying? ...I don't think people care about me or her in that way. People care about their families, their kids. If you like my music, listen to it. If you like her music, listen to it."
The feud was reignited when West released his new single "Famous" in which he said he was responsible for Swift's fame. At the 58th Annual Grammys on Monday night, Swift took a jab at the rapper by saying at her acceptance speech, "I want to say to all the young women out there - there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."
"But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be greatest feeling in the world."
