Sandisk, a major brand in portable storage segment has launched two new storage solutions- the Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II card and a new Ultra USB Type-C flash drive.
The Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II is claimed to be the world's fastest microSD card as it can achieve transfer speeds of up to 275Mbps, triple the speed of UHS I line. It offers write speed of up to 100Mbps. The microSD card features Class 10 and UHS Speed Class 3 (U3), and is perfect for capturing 1080p videos or 4K videos on cams, drones and smartphone. It comes bundled with a USB 3.0 card reader to transfer files to PC.
The SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II cards come in 64GB and 128GB variants. The 64GB micorSD card is priced at $179.99 (Rs. 12,300), and the 128GB microSD card costs$299.99 (Rs. 20,500). They will be available worldwide in Q2 2016.
The SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C flash drive delivers speeds of up to 150Mbps, and is the company's first USB Type-C flash drive. You can plug the flash drive into tablet, PC and smartphone. The flash drive comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage models priced at $19.99, $29.99, $49.99 and $79.99, respectively.
