Samsung To Make 17.2 Million Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, says report

Samsung unveiled S7 and S7 Edge on February 21 at MWC event held at Barcelona. Reports are saying that Samsung will make 17.2 Million S7 and S7 Edge Smartphones in three months.

ETNews has stated that Samsung will make 17.2 Million S7 and S7 Edge Smartphones by the end of April. Samsung’s S series smartphones like S4, S5, S6 & S6 Edge have been leading in the markets, now it is a turn for Samsung’s all new smartphone S7 to lead the market, as reports claimed that Samsung sold 15.8 Million Units of S6 and S6 Edge within three months of their launch. Samsung is gearing to make 17.2 Million units of S7 and S7 Edge by the end of April, which is quite high when compared to S6 and S6 Edge’s production within three months of their launch.

Last year, Samsung witnessed the stock shortage when Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones were released. The company made one S6 Edge for every four Galaxy S6. In order to resolve the shortage crisis for Edge series smartphones, Samsung has apparently set new ratio 6:4, which means the company will make four S7 Edge for every six S7 Edge manufactured.

Samsung S7 is having 5.1 QHD Display while as S7 Edge is having 5.5 inch dual curved QHD Display. The duo smartphones are running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Chipset. Both devices are having 4 GB Ram and 12 MP rear facing camera.

Samsung is expecting that S7 will break the sales records of S6 and S6 Edge. The company is expected to release S7 and S7 Edge on March 11. We hope that you liked this article, feel free to share this with your friends.
