Xiaomi India has announced a permanent price cut for the Redmi Note Prime, and is now available for Rs. 7,999, down from the launch price of Rs. 8,499. At the reduced price, the Redmi Note Prime will be available on Amazon India and Mi.com.
To recap, the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime was launched in December last year in the country and was the second Mi phone to be manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Foxconn. The Redmi Note Prime comes with 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13MP/5MP camera, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE and 3100mAh battery.
Additionally, as a part of Mi Week on Amazon India, the Mi 4 and Mi 4i have received a price cut of Rs. 2,000. Starting today, till February 19, the Mi 4 and Mi 4i will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 9,999 accordingly.
Amazon India is also offering Rs. 1,000 cashback (credited by May 15 2016) for Standard Chartered Bank credit and debit card holders on purchase of Redmi 2 Prime 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Mi 4 and Mi 4i till February 19.
