Sony confirmed that the phone Xperia M4 Aqua will get directly the update Android 6.0 without to need upgrade from Android 5.1 first, within the tweets published on Twitter, in response to a question from users.
This confirmation is the first of its kind for Sony, the company promised earlier to upgrade a number of its phones to Android 6.0, but it had upgraded to Android 5.1 first, and left users in a loss to know when to upgrade their phones to Android 6.0. This happened with the M5 Xperia , Xperia C4, Xperia C5 Ultra.
In all cases, Sony confirmed that Xperia M4 Aqua will get update directly but it did not include details of the date of launch update, unfortunately, but it is assumed that the company will not be delayed too much to launch update to users, may be by next March.
