ZOPO, at MWC 2016, Barcelona, in addition to announcing the world's first smartphone with MediaTek's Helio X20 Deca-core chipset, the Speed 8 also announced a new budget smartphone, the Speed 7C. The main highlight of the Speed 7C is its swapable back covers that comes in wooden finishes.
The ZOPO Speed 7C comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor w/ Mali T720 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt expandable storage, 13.2MP rear camera (w/ LED flash, 1080p video recording) and 5MP front snapper. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
The ZOPO Speed 7C comes in Bamboo, Ebony, Black Apricot and Phoenix Feather back cover options. ZOPO did not reveal the pricing or availability details.
