Below are some good apps that are free today and only for a limited period of time. Our favourite title in the list is Splash 2 Remote Desktop. This is an app we have reviewed here in the past and it allows you to remotely access your Mac or Windows PC from your iPad or iOS. You can access all your programs and files including: Outlook, Keynote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IE, Chrome, Safari and almost any other application you have installed on your desktop.  Enjoy
