So there I was earlier last week at BMS Organics' outlet in One City USJ for the their HAHA Kidz 2016 campaign launch. We had the world’s most famous animated panda, a nutritionist, and a tai chi master to perform that morning. Cool times.

Hot on the heels of a tie-up with DreamWorks Studio earlier this year to usher in the new Kung Fu Panda 3 movie with special “angpaus” featuring motives of Po the Panda during the Chinese New Year period -- BMS Organics launched its “HAHA Kidz” CSR campaign to media at Sky Park @ One City Mall today.

“HAHA” are initials symbolizing “Healthy”, “Active”, “Happy’ & “Advanced” – a quintessential campaign aimed at inspiring kids to grow up from a holistic aspect of ‘body, mind and spirit’ which dovetails BMS Organics’ corporate philosophy.

BMS Organics’ CEO, Terry Lee said nutrition and exercise are crucial and the foundation of a healthy lifestyle, especially for kids. “At BMS Organics, we are committed to keeping Malaysians healthy through observing a vegetarian / organic diet and consuming less meat,” said Terry.

As such, the crux of the “HAHA” campaign starts with the alphabet ‘H’ which denotes “Healthy”. BMS Organics has launched a new kids’ nutrition range consisting of plant-based whole food products offering ideal amounts of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, protein and fat for healthy kids’ growth. With no artificial additives, colouring and preservative, the products are developed specifically for children with specific nutrient requirements for ages 1 – 5 and 6 – 12. The new products are aimed to inspire kids to take responsibility to prepare their own healthy meals.

For HAHA campaign, BMS has customized 4 healthy sets comprising different types of kids’ nutritional items plus a cartoon bag. The sets ranging from RM268 to RM298 are retailing at all BMS Organics outlets.

For the public who desire to be healthier and are uncertain what to do need not worry. Check out BMS Organics’ new “Nutritionist Hotline”. Simply dial 1300-888-267 (BMS) to seek advice or relevant information on nutrition-related matters.
The second element in “HAHA” campaign -- ‘A’ stands for “Active”. BMS Organics has enlisted veteran Tai Chi Master Sim Eng Ker of the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Association of Malaysia to demo basic martial arts movements with children from the House of Joy - a social concern and a non-profit charitable home that administers shelter, care & training to orphans, children and teens.

Last but not least, a child with a happy and healthy soul will grow up mentally positive and a more well-grounded person in life. The third alphabet ‘H’ denoting “Happy”. BMS Organics has a long-term commitment to cultivate happy and healthy kids with past initiatives such as visitations to orphanages around Klang Valley and other states and supporting 30 Hour Famine.

“We are pleased to tie up with Kung Fu Panda 3 which brings good wholesome cheer to the kids and adults alike. At the same time, the movie is packed with life-enriching lessons such as being kind, courageous, true to oneself, be the best one can be etc.,” enthused Terry.

With “Healthy”, “Active” and “Happy” elements in play to boost a healthy and positive mind, body and spirit, children will grow up with an edge in life and “Advanced” – completing the full essence of the HAHA Kids campaign,” quipped Terry.
