Dell earlier this week launched its range of Windows 10 Pro-running Dell Latitude 13 (7370) ultrabook and Latitude 12 (7270) detachable notebook India. In addition the company also announced its refreshed Latitude 3000, 5000 and 7000 series laptops with a few new monitors.
The Dell Latitude 13 7370 ultrabook
The Latitude 13 (7370) ultrabook is being touted as the world's smallest 13-inch business ultrabook. The body is made out of carbon fiber and aerospace-grade materials. The ultrabook sports a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display with minimum bezels and comes with Full HD (non-touch screen) or QHD+ (touch screen) resolution.
It can be configured with up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, sixth generation Intel Core m7 processor and up to 512GB SSD. The ultrabook includes USB Type-C ports, Micro USB 3.0 w/ support for Thunderbolt 3, 720p video webcam, microSD card slot and micro SIM card slot. For connectivity there is 4G LTE, WiFi and Bluetooth support. As for security you get a smartcard reader, fingerprint reader and RFID reader apart from security and encryption software. It promises to deliver 10 hours of battery life.
Dell Latitude 12 (7275) 2-in-1 tablet
Dell claims that the Latitude 12 (7275) 2-in-1 is the lightest 12.5-inch 2-in-1 tablet. It has a magnesium unibody build and comes with detachable keyboard option which allow it to be used in several modes including tablet, laptop, stand and tent.
The 2-in-1 tablet sports a 12.5-inch display and comes with the option of either Full HD or UHD variant with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass NBT protection. It comes in Intel Core m3, Core m5 or Core m7 processor options and can be configured with up to 8GB RAM, up to 512GB SSD, and also gets 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2 x USB Type-C ports and an optional stylus pen support for drawing and taking notes on the touch display.
Dell Latitude 11 (5175) 2-in-1 tablet
The Latitude 11 (5175) 2-in-1 tablet comes with a 10.8-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass protection. It can be configured with sixth generation Intel Core m3 or Core m5 processors, with up to 8GB LPDDR3 SDRAM and up to 512GB SSD SATA storage. It comes with 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, USB 3.0 port, Type-A Micro USB 3.0 port, Micro HDMI, microSD card reader and 4G LTE. For wireless connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, Miracast, NFC and 4G LTE.
Others
Dell also launched the upgraded line of its Latitude 3000, 5000 and 7000 series laptops. The company also released new Dell 27 wireless and UltraSharp 27 Wireless monitors that come with UltraSharp InfinityEdge display. Also the Dell Dock and Dell Thunderbolt Dock accessories equipped with USB Type-C ports were also announced.
