HTC has officially announced that their upcoming flagship claimed to be the HTC 10 will be officially announced on April 12. HTC is not holding a press conference, but will stream the unveiling of HTC 10 online on its website. The event begins 8am New York time, 1pm London time, 8pm Taipei time and 5:30pm IST.
The press invite reads "we admit it. we're obsessed... but in a good way" and also includes the hashtag #powerof10.
HTC's last two flagship the One M8 and One M9 disappointed in the camera department, but this time HTC is having big plans for the camera. As per company official the HTC 10 will offer a very compelling camera experience. HTC also teased that HTC 10 will have “World First, World Class back and front” Cameras.
We've already seen leaked renders and live images of the HTC 10, that shows a design resembling the HTC One A9. It will sport a unibody metal build and the design and will have capacitive backlit buttons on either side of the Home Button/Fingerprint scanner.
The rumored spec list of HTC includes - 5.15-inch Super LCD 5 display, Snapdragon 820 SoC w/ Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB expandable storage, 12.3MP rear camera (w/ Sony IMX377 sensor, PDAF), 5MP Ultrapixel front camera (Samsung S5K4E6 sensor), 3000mAH battery USB Type-C and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8 UI on top.
Expect a sudden burst of rumors from here on of the HTC 10.
