HTC to drop "One" moniker for upcoming flagship, could be called HTC 10

HTC failed to impress critics and fans with its last flagship offering, One M9. But that is past, and the company in a recently released teaser video said that it is working hard to make the next flagship even better. That's not all, HTC CFO, Chialin Chang, also said that the next flagship will house a "compelling camera".

HTC last month started teasing its upcoming flagship with the hashtag #powerof10, giving us a hint, that it could be called One M10, but according to Evan Blass (@evleaks), HTCs next flagship could ditch the 'One M' part and simply be called HTC 10.

If true HTC would be dropping the "One" moniker it introduced back in 2012 with HTC One X, and also the 'M' label which was introduced with the One M7 and One M8. Blass also stated that HTC will not have a Windows 10 Mobile version of HTC 10.

Meanwhile, @xXmoniWHOOPERxX, a well know HTC ROM developer, tweeted out possible specs of HTC 10.
