LG launched the Stylus 2, ahead of MWC 2016, Barcelona, and the handset recently went on sale in Korea. Now the South Korean tech company has announced a new variant of the Stylus 2 equipped with DAB+ for digital radio broadcasting, making it the first smartphone to come with the DAB+ tech. LG says that it teamed up with the International DMB Advancement Group (IDAG) to integrate the DAB+ technology in the new Stylus 2.
The Stylus 2 with DAB+ Radio will have similar specs as the standard model - 5.7-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM (2GB in Korea), 16GB inbuilt expandable storage, 13MP rear camera (w/ LED flash, 8MP front facing camera, 4G LTE and 3000mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with nano-coated tip Stylus.
The new LG Stylus 2 with DAB+ will be initially available in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway and UK. There are no details on pricing availability and exact roll out time frame.
