Couple of days back, Chinese smartphone maker vivo launched Xplay 5 Elite, which received the title of world's first smartphone to pack a massive 6GB RAM. Now a new report coming out of China, suggests that Meizu will bring its flagship Pro 6 with the same amount of RAM (6GB).
The Meizu Pro 6 is expected to come in two variants, the first model will be equipped with 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage, the second will boast 6GB RAM/128GB storage. To remind you the Meizu Pro 5 also came in two variants - 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM w/ 64GB storage.
Other rumored specification of the Pro 6 includes a 1080p display with 3D/Force Touch technology and powered by Samsung's Exynos 8890 SoC, that is present on the Galaxy S7 models. Other features include Hi-Fi 3.0 sound, mCharge (fast charge) 3.0, and running on Meizu’s custom Flyme 6.0 OS.
The Meizu Pro 6 is expected to be announced in the second half of 2016. The brand also has two other smartphones in the pipeline, the high-end MX6 and an unnamed mid-range offering, which is rumored to launch before the unveiling of Pro 6.
