New iPhone 7 image shows new antenna design, larger camera

In today's dose of Apple leaks and rumors, schematics claimed to be iPhone 7's chassis have surfaced showing the design of the rear side of the phone.

Earlier it was reported that, Apple plans to cover the antenna bands on the iPhone 7 with a new compound material. The image corroborates with the report, as the antenna lines that were present at the top and bottom of earlier iPhone are now missing, and are now moved to the top and bottom edges of the new iPhone 7.

The camera also has got a significant update than the current iPhone, as the claimed image show the iPhone 7 to have a larger camera lens. It is positioned slightly closer to the edge of the frame as compared to that on iPhone 6 and 6s.

Earlier reports claimed that iPhone 7 will have a dual camera setup at the back, but the schematics don't show the setup. The new report claims that the schematics are strictly of the 4.7-inch model of the iPhone, while the 5.5-inch model dubbed iPhone 7 Pro, will have the dual-camera setup.

Lastly the chassis is said to be slightly thinner as compared to current iPhone models, which corroborates with earlier rumors that claimed that Apple will ditch the 3.5mm audio headphone jack on iPhone 7, to make it slimmer.

Apple will be releasing the iPhone 7 later this year, but before that on March 22, the company will announce a 4-inch iPhone, iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad pro tablet, new Apple Watch bands, and software.
