LYF, the range of VoLTE-equpped smartphones from Reliance Retail has come up with three new smartphone - Flame 2, Wind 4 and Water 7, ahead of Jio's launch in the coming weeks. The brand also announced its new website and price drops for its current LYM smartphones, as a part of LYF's Holi celebration offer.
The LYF Flme 2, Wind 4 and Water 7 are expected to be available for purchase across retail stores in the next few days. LYF has not yet revealed the exact specification of the three devices, but revealed few features it has to offer.
The Flame 2 is the most affordable of the lot, priced at Rs. 4,999 and the cheapest VoLTE capable device in the country, dethroning Flame 1. The Wind 4 packs a massive 4000mAh battery, whereas the Water 7 has an optical fingerprint sensor on-board which is said to make fingerprint detection and verification “super simple and secure”. These smartphone are expected to run Android Lollipop and come with dual-SIM tray and VoWi-Fi support.
The addition of three new smartphone takes the company's tally of LYF branded smartphones to eight in the market. The brand says that it "aims to be a key player in the Indian smartphone market by offering cutting edge technology and a superior user experience – the true 4G experience comprising HD Voice and Video calling".
In addition, as part of LYF's Holi celebration offer, the brand has slashed prices for the LYF Wind 6, Flame 1, Water 1, Water 2 and Earth 1. The pricing are as follows-
- LYF Wind 6 - Rs. 6,499 (down from Rs. Rs. 7,499)
- LYF Flame 1 - Rs. 5,499 (down from Rs. 6,699)
- LYF Water 1 - Rs. 14,599 (down from Rs. 17,399)
- LYF Water 2 - Rs. 13,499 (down from Rs. 15,499)
- LYF Earth 1 - Rs. 19,399 (down from Rs. 25,800)
