Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will go on sale in almost 60 countries including the U.S, Europe, Singapore, Australia and Korea starting from today.
Ahead of the global rollout Samsung revealed that it received "stronger than expected" pre-order of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and said that both devices would help the company revive sales, in markets such as China, where Apple has shown growth in recent years.
In the U.S the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge 32GB variant are expected to cost $699.99 and $779.99 respectivel, and the prices may vary depending on the carrier or store. In UK, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge 32GB model will cost 569 GBP and 639 GBP respectively and in Europe the 32GB Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will cost 699 Euros and 799 Euros respectively. Unfortunately, the 64GB model Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will not be available in the UK and, most of Europe and the U.S.
Earlier this week, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge went up for pre-orders in India, while the sale begins March 18. The 32GB model of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are priced at Rs. 48,900 and Rs. 56,900 respectively. All those who pre-oder the devices on or before March 17, will get a Gear VR headset free.
