Get your fresh meat at Blue Cow Cafe @ Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas. It's both a cosy cafe and a place to buy some really fresh quality Australian beef and lamb, homemade delicious sausages and burger patties. Together with good fresh local pork, ham and bacon, dining here was a joy, one which I experienced last week.

Located in Plaza Damas at Sri Hartamas, The Blue Cow Cafe has been in operations since 2006, a whole 10 years already. The ambiance is pretty good, where you can choose to dine inside or at their outdoor area. Meat lovers like myself would be please to find the menu is filled with various mouth watering meat dishes. 

Big BBQ Breakfast - RM50

You know you're getting a really big healthy dose of breakfast when you order The Blue Cow Cafe's Big BBQ Breakfast. Served on a rather large platter with two eggs, delicious crispy bacon, handmade sausages, sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomato, hash brown, baked beans and toast, it's no easy feat to finish this alone. So be sure to share this best selling goodness! 

Bangers & Mash - RM30

Sausage lovers will do good to order the Bangers & Mash where two handmade sausages are served on one of the better mashed potatoes I've tried in a while. Be spoilt for choice in choosing from a myriad of sausages from Pork, Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Italian, Chorizo, Merguez, Farmer, Hunter and Bratwurst. Even the mash potato has a choice of traditional, Cheese, Bacon, Spring Onion, Mustard, Wasabi or Mint. 

Ribeye Steak (RM60)

I just had to have my steak, ordering the Ribeye steak enough to fill my stomach with delicious meaty goodness. Choose from their Ribs Steak (RM120 400gm), Tenderloin (RM85), Sirloin (RM55) or my favourite part the Ribeye (RM60) and enjoy your piece of steak. The dish comes with a cob of corn and some vegs on the side. 

Aussie Burger - RM28

Elsewhere, when you order a burger, you get just that, a burger. Here at Blue Cow, you get a whole lot more with chips and their special coleslaw. We had the rather huge Aussie Burger that afternoon.  Even the burger itself is really thick, filled with beef patty, cheese, onions, bacon, egg, beetroot, lettuce and fresh tomatoes. One bite, and you will want more I tell you. 

Blue Cow Cafe produces their sausages and burger patty with only premium meat cuts such as Australian Beef Brisket, Pork Shoulder, New Zealand Lamb Shoulder.
