China based smartphone maker Ulefone has announced Vienna, a metal clad handset with solid set of specs. The handset has a fingerprint sensor at the back that can unlock the phone in less than 0.5 seconds.
The Ulefone Vienna sports 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved display from Sharp, protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, there is 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clubbed with 3GB RAM, Mali-T720 GPU and houses 64GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card.
Camera-wise, it gets a 13-megapixel rear camera with Dual LED flash, Panasonic MN34172 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. For clicking selfies, you get 5-megapixel front camera with Omnivision OV5648.
The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop w/ u-launcher and supports 4G LTE (FDD-LTE bands – 1,3,7,8 and 20), 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG connectivity. It is fueled by 3250mAh battery.
Other features include infrared sensor, Smart Audio PA independent DAC and amplifier from NXP. On the side there is a smartkey that can be used to launch the camera quickly or open voice recorder.
The Ulefone Vienna is priced at $199.99 (Rs. 13,000) and is now available for pre-oder from Gearbest. It comes in Grace Black, Space Grey, Silk White and Rose Golden colors. Shipping starts from April 30.
