It's that time again! Welcome to another epic month of releases from Dark Souls 3 to Bravely Second and the brand new remake of Ratchet and Clank which is based off of the movie which is based off of the game. Regardless, it looks awesome on the PS4 which only helps to show off what the newest entry could look like! Onto the games!

Tuesday April 5th

DiRT Rally (PS4, XB1)

I'm going to let the team behind this project's words speak for themselves but I'm honestly intrigued by DiRT's offroad racing.

"DiRT Rally is the most authentic, challenging and thrilling rally game ever made, road-tested over 80 million miles by the DiRT community. It captures the essence of what makes rally unique like no other game: that white knuckle feeling of racing on the edge; trying to remain in control of your emotions as you hurtle along dangerous, undulating roads at breakneck speed, aiming to squeeze everything out of your car whilst knowing that one crash could irreparably harm your stage time.

It's the ultimate test of a driver's skill, and the ultimate in high risk, high reward gameplay."

R.B.I. Baseball 2016 (PS4, XB1)

With the new season starting up it's time for a new game to grace the consoles. Fan of the game? Jump into a brand new season or exposition game with the newest entry into the series.

Quantum Break (XB1)

Quantum Break has been on a lot of people's radars for a while now. This is one of those titles that has the potential to truly be something else if it was done right. Here's hoping that it is as there are a few of us on the team looking forward to it. It's one of the reasons I picked up an Xbox One. Scalebound and Crack Down are my second and third.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles (PS Vita)

A bit later to the game is a PlayStation Vita release of the Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy. Want to take it with you on the go? Now's your chance!

Tuesday April 12th

Dark Souls III (PS4, XB1, PC)

Personally I have been waiting for Dark Souls III since before even finishing Dark Souls 2. What can I say? It was freaking awesome. I personally will be spending many hours upon its release date playing but in the meantime check out some footage of from some of the team that's had their hands on it for a while now!

Ratchet and Clank (PS4)

While being late to the game, I positively fell in love with hte Ratchet and Clank series through the PS3 Collection that offered the first three titles. Having played just about every entry since short of Deadlocked, I am looking very forward to replaying the original revamped for the PS4 which is also based off of the movie coming out which is based off of the first game. They've had fun with that saying.

Bravely Second: End Layer (3DS)

Bravely Second is finally releasing for us over here in North America and I for one am extremely excited for its release. Several of us here at CGR loved the first entry including Nick (see review), Richard, and myself who compared lots of notes when we were playing it upon release. See our impressions on the demo that's been provided soon while we all await the release later this month.

Monday April 18th

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (PC)

Nick was a huge fan of the second entry, which isn't saying he wasn't a fan of the first entry, and it's now coming over to the PC like a lot of their other titles of late. I personally picked them up on a PSN Sale not that long ago and need to finally sit down and see what these are truly all about!

Tuesday April 19th

Langrisser Re:Incarnation -TENSEI- (3DS)

This title has been a long time in coming and I'm sure there are a few of us that are very much looking forward to it!

"After a 15 year absence, the legendary RPG series makes its triumphant return to the gaming fold! Wield the mighty sword Langrisser as you journey through a massive world at war. Define the path before you by lending your talents to one of three factions and secure your place as your faction's greatest hero by executing strategic supremacy over your enemies."

The Banner Saga 2 (PC)

I'm honestly partially ashamed of myself that I have yet to play this... I know right? While I may have the PC version awaiting my attention, Nick very much enjoyed the first upon the PS4. Now while I may not have quite yet gotten around to the first, I'm looking foward to the second!

Friday April 22nd

Star Fox Zero (Wii U)

Confession? I've only played Star Fox 64. I haven't touched the SNES or the other title that released that was more of an action adventure platformer if I remember it right. Regardless of these facts I'm looking foward to jumping back into the cockpit even if I'm not looking foward to Slippy yelling through the comms every five seconds.

Zombie Vikings Ragnarok Edition (PS4)

Zombie Vikings was well received by us late last year and it's making its way back around physically this time through a Ragnarok Edition? Haven't yet had the chance to dance with Loki or deal with Odin adding glitter to his magical staff? Now might not be a bad time to do so especially for lovers of physical copies on their shelves!

Monday April 25th

htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary (PC)

Like Danganronpa 2, htoL#NiQ is also seeing a re-release through Steam this month. See what Nick thought of the original release before it re-releases later this month.

Tuesday April 26th

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies (PS Vita)

It's hard not to grin at the idea of the Goddesses in a Zombie situation as the Zombies seriously doesn't stand a chance. While still waiting for Vert / Lady Green Heart to have her own entry... it's got to happen since Noire and Blanc will have both had theirs, Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies should be awesome!

Stranger of Sword City (PS Vita)

Here's a release that I honestly get to say is extremely worth. I've personally been playing it since early last month on the Xbox One which released on March 22nd. Lovers of Dungon Crawlers should find themselves straight at home with some rather unique challeneges and gameplay mechanics making this one worth picking up!

Dungeons 2 (PS4)

With some titles making their way from the consoles or handhelds over to the PC, some others are doing the reverse. Dungeons 2 is making its way from the PC over the PS4 later this month for Evil to once again make "goodness quake in its boots".

Tales From the Borderlands (PS3, PS4, 360, XB1, PC)

Like Zombie Vikings, Tales from the Borderlands is seeing a physical release this month! Having absolutely loved it, check out Chris' Review if you haven't already!

Battle Worlds: Kronos (PS4, XB1)

Having already been out for years now on the PC, Battle Words: Kronos is coming to the PS4 and XB1. What's it about?

"Battle Worlds: Kronos is a classic turn-based strategy game in the tradition of Battle Isle, Advance Wars and Panzer General. Have you ever wondered what games like that would look like today? Well, we did. As a result, we decided to develope Battle Worlds: Kronos."

SEGA 3D Classics Collection (3DS)

I don't think I really need to say anything for SEGA's 3D classics so I'll cut straight to it with which awesome retro titles will be able to be re-visited on the 3DS.

Power Drift , Puyo Puyo 2, Fantasy Zone II W, Sonic The Hedgehog, Thunder Blade, Galaxy Force II, Altered Beast, Fantasy Zone II, Maze Walker

Friday April 29th

Pokemon Rumble World (3DS)

Finally arriving at the final item for this month's list is the physical release of Pokemon Rumble World which will offer new ways to explore this world. Haven't already played? Maybe now's a good time to jump in!
