Classzone Offers Over 20 Free Downloadable Writing Templates to Use in Class

Classzone is an excellent free educational website that provides a wide range of materials and teaching resources ideal for use with students in class. You can search these materials using one of these five content areas: math, language arts, science, social studies, and world languages. Once you select the subject you teach, you select the location (if you are outside of the States select international) and then hit go.

Today as I was wading through the content of this website I came across this wonderful resource packed full of free downloadable templates for teaching writing. Writing Templates is a section that features a plethora of over 20  pre-made templates that cover different writing genres such as persuasive essay, process description, cause and effect, editorial, resume, short story, literary analysis, character sketch and many more.

For example, you can use this template to help students  organize their thoughts and write an autobiographical or personal narrative in which they get to describe a personal experience or explore its meaning. Check out this page for more writing templates.
