The Top 3 in Austria

Last Minute Win Edition

The Austrian EV market ended the year on a strong note, selling 176 units, a 150% increase regarding the same month last year, pulling the EV Share slightly up to 0,54%, with full year sales mounting to 1.645 units, twice as much as last year and a 60% increase over the previous record, set in 2012.

In what was the most exciting turn of events in the whole year, the Renault Zoe just made it to Number One in the last month of the year, thanks to an impressive 81 sales in that month (Best performance of the year), relegating the BMW i3 (Only 18 units sold) to the runner-up position, with only 6 units separating them.

The VW e-Up! ended the year in a deserved Third Spot, while the #4 Tesla Model S ended the year strong, selling 24 units, its best result since last March.

Looking into the manufacturers ranking, Renault also won over BMW (29% vs 23%), while VW ended in #3 with a rather disappointing 14% share.
