Among one of the cooler things that will be at the new Apple Campus 2 is a visitor center. At the current headquarters, there is a gift shop, but no visitor center. This is a step up. Why? There is a planned cafe, a gift shop, AND an observation deck. The observation deck will overlook the main area of the headquarters, giving visitors a better view of what the inside of Apple headquarters looks like. A finished main building is planned to be ready in 2016.
