The latest and greatest from Samsung has arrived. The Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition for S6 has been launched in Malaysia, and it wowed me over the moment I experienced the virtual reality world at Pavilion last week. Fully optimised and compatible with its next generation Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge smartphones, the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition lets users enjoy Samsung’s unrivaled, fully immersive and cinematic virtual reality experience, with improved viewing as well as a more comfortable design.

Be the first to try out the fully immersive and visually stimulating Gear VR by dropping by the Main Entrance of Pavilion from the 10th to the 12th of July at 12pm to 9pm. Or you can choose to visit the Blue Zone of Sunway Pyramid on the 25th to the 26th of July from 12pm to 9pm for an experience that you will never forget.

Inside, we were briefed before experiencing it first hand. 

I must say, arriving at Pavilion KL on a hot afternoon, I was excited over the knowledge that I will be experiencing the latest cutting edge technology in virtual reality. It didn't take long before we were briefed and ushered in together with the public to experience the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition for S6.  The next showcase will be at the Blue Zone of Sunway Pyramid on the 25th to the 26th of July from 12pm to 9pm.

I did not waste time putting on the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition over my head. It is a comfortable fit, with adjustable bands to ensure it doesn't get too tight nor loose. I can understand why this gadget is designed for innovative consumers, specifically VR enthusiasts, developers, mobile experts and professionals, and early technology adopters. The technology is just beyond words! 

Immerse in the 360 degrees virtual reality world

Words cannot describe the awesomeness that I felt the moment the device started up and I was in a 3D virtual reality world thanks to Samsung. With the built in accelerator, gyrometer and proximity sensors, I could turn 360degrees to experience a virtual world through the device. We tested out a few of the games inside, shooting aliens and walking through the virtual world. Input is via the touch pad at the side of the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition, simple yet effective.

Totally immersive, I totally forgot I was in a confined space where the roadshow was held in Pavilion, concentrating instead to shoot and kill as many aliens in the virtual reality world that I was in.
