Apple’s next-generation iPhones are expected to be ever so slightly thicker to accommodate Force Touch and to prevent another “bendgate,” but it seems that won’t be the case for the new iPad mini. Leaked CAD design drawings of the iPad mini 4 hint at a thinner device measuring just 6.1mm.
The drawings and the design of the leaked iPad Mini 4 can be seen in the below video that brought to you by @OnLeaks. They show off what is believed to be the fourth-generation iPad mini from all angles, and at first glance, it looks like very little has changed; the device is identical to its predecessors in physical design.

One big difference between the iPad mini 4 and previous devices, however, is its thickness. According to these drawings, the new device will measure just 6.13mm thick, which makes it around 1.27mm thinner than the iPad mini 3. The device’s mute switch has also been removed, like on the iPad Air 2.
