Despite the fact that the new Apple TV (or Apple TV 4) is set to go on sale on Monday, October 26, with shipments beginning soon after, current Apple TV owners have something to look forward to.
As noted by 9to5Mac, there are three new channels that have been recently added to the current Apple TV’s lineup. That includes a new NBC station, which will allow viewers to watch full episodes from the company’s library. However, as is usual for these types of services, Apple TV owners will need to sign in through a cable provider to access the episodes.
CBS, on the other hand, now allows access to its content in the new Apple TV channel through CBS All Access, which is available for $5.99 per month to watch full episodes. There is a one-week free trial on offer, for those that want to try it out. Viewers in some regions will be able to watch live network shows from CBS via some supported stations.
The NBC app lets you watch full episodes but cable sign-in is needed for some features.
