Windows 10 may be already released, but Microsoft continues to test new products for its new operating system via the Insider program. And moreover, the Redmond company has announced in a few, integrated the latest build.
Microsoft is working on its version of iMessage
On this preview version, functionalities calls, messaging and Skype video chat are integrated with the universal application "Messaging, Phone and Skype."
The system is reminiscent of the Message application on OS X and iMessage. Available on the latest preview on PC, this new feature will also be on the preview of the mobile version of the OS.
In addition, it will be possible to respond to messages directly on notifications without having to open the app.
Cortana recognizes handwriting
On Cortana, Microsoft is working on handwriting recognition. So on a touch screen, you can use a stylus to schedule an event. However, as this is still only a preview, Microsoft is still trying to improve this feature.
Another feature of Cortana who is also tested by Microsoft will use such information from a confirmation email that you received after purchasing movie tickets to remember your day program. This will remind you might Google Now.
Otherwise, Microsoft is also testing features for the Edge Browser (like preview of tabs), a new menu and other small developed.
These developments may seem minor, but they show that Microsoft continues to work on new features to its operating system. Remember, it is currently being used by over 110 million people and as you may already know, Microsoft recently unveiled its first Lumia smartphones running Windows 10 which, through a dock, support the Continuum functionality.
