Facebook Launches Notify Application

If you install this application, you will of course even more notifications.

Today, Facebook is already the main source of notifications, app via Facebook and other services for many mobile users. And this trend will not be ready to stop for those who will install the Notify application number one social network has just announced (which was already mentioned by some rumors).

If Twitter allows a user to receive notifications when an account shares something, Notify will enable it to receive when publishers share content via the stations.

The idea is not that the user subscribes to all news sources that he has selected (this would quickly become hellish), but rather to of these stations, so that the contents that will be the subject of notifications to be sorted.

In a blog post where Facebook announces this new application, it cites some examples of stations like The Final FOX Sports scores, which sends notifications to summaries of the matches of the favorites of the user stations for large titles of the day or the Hot new Trailers Fandago proposed station will send notifs for new trailers of the most interesting films. These stations are categorized.

The notifications appear on the user's lock screen can click on it to open the contents of the embedded browser in the Notify application.

The user can also share or save its notifications for future reference.

The bad news (you are you expected) is that the app is currently available for iOS users that are located in the United States. And for publishers or sources if you want, they are currently number 72. Of these, there are news sites like CNN lyfestyle, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly, The Verge, Vogue or TIME, but also services like Hulu, Groupon or Getty Images.
