Android 6.0 Marshmallow is finally released and developers are already working on custom roms based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Finally OmniROM which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is now available for download, and OnePlus one users can easily flash this ROM to their device.
Step 2: After that, download Android 6.0 OmniRom zip file from here on your computer, and Marshmallow Google Apps from here and move the downloaded files to the internal storage of your OnePlus One.
Step 3: Now, switch off your device and boot to recovery mode (press and hold Volume Up +Home +Power button).
Step 4: Once you get to the recovery mode, simply perform a full system wipe (Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition and then Wipe Dalvik Cache/ART cache from advanced section).
Step 5: After that, go to the recover main menu, then choose install, then select the Android 6.0 OmiROM Zip file and install immediately.
Step 6: Repeat the step 5 to also install the Marshmallow Google apps/
Step 7: Once the installation process is completed, simply go back main recovery menu and tap on Reboot system, and your device would be rebooted.
Once your OnePlus One is successfully rebooted, then you would notice the new experience of Android 6.0 Marshmallow OmniROM on your device with much amazing features. And just in case your device got stock in welcome screen during reboot, simply switch off and boot to recovery, then wipe cache partition and reboot.
Installing this custom ROM on your OnePlus One mobile is very easy, all you need is to root your device and install TWRP Recovery, and then you can flash the ROM via recovery mode. How to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow (OmniRom) on OnePlus One
Step 1: Enable USB debugging on OnePlus One to enable, Go to Settings » About Phone » Scroll down and tap build number several times until you will see a pop-up which states that, “You are now a developer”. Then go back to settings » developers option (which is above “About Phone”), and enable USB debugging, and connect your device to your computer.
Step 2: After that, download Android 6.0 OmniRom zip file from here on your computer, and Marshmallow Google Apps from here and move the downloaded files to the internal storage of your OnePlus One.
