Apple’s super-sized tablet aimed at professionals is now available for purchase from the online Apple Store. Early this morning, the iPad Pro went on sale, along with notable accessories, the Apple Pencil, and Smart Keyboard.
iPad Pro comes with a much bigger 12.9-inch Retina Display with a resolution of 2732-by-2048 at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). It is powered by Apple’s new 64-bit A9X chip with 4GB RAM, which offers 2.5x faster CPU performance, and offers 5 times faster graphics performance compared to the A7 chip. It also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel FaceTime front camera, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and four built-in speakers.
The iPad Pro Wi-Fi model comes with 32GB or 128GB of storage while the iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular model comes with only 128 GB of storage. 32GB and 128GB iPad Pro Wi-Fi only model is available for $799 and $949 respectively, and the 128GB iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular model is available for $1079. iPad Pro comes in three distinctive metallic finishes: Space Gray, Silver and Gold.

Apple has also launched two new accessories for the iPad Pro, the Apple Pencil, and Smart Keyboard. Apple Pencil, the company’s new stylus, that will work perfectly with the brand new iPad Pro, which boasts a wide-range of features, including the ability to register tilt, pressure, and the speed of a stroke while using the stylus on the display. Smart Keyboard for the iPad Pro is a full-sized keyboard which attaches to iPad Pro’s smart connector port, which transfers data and power to the Smart Keyboard, letting users slide the keyboard into place and lock it there. The new keyboard is made from a woven fabric, including the keys. Inside, there’s the new Apple “dome switch,” which the company made famous in its 12-inch MacBook. Apple Pencil is available for $99, and Smart Keyboard will be available in charcoal gray for $169.
