Apple has released an official Apple Watch Dock, posing a competition to 99% of Apple Watch related Kickstarters. It looks pretty cool. The dock is a circular pad with an Apple Watch magnetic charger in the center. It connects to power via an included Lightning cable. The Apple Watch charger can flip out so that you can charge your Apple Watch in Nightstand mode (pictured below). If you don't flip it out, the Apple Watch will charge flat down. The Apple Watch Dock costs $79 and will be delivered to customers as soon as this Friday when ordered from the Apple Online Store. It should be available in Apple Retail Stores Friday as well.
