See This Specious Acer Aspire S7 Review With Price

If you are in search of a seductive laptop laptop which combines beauty with solid performance in a portable form factor ; Acer sincerely hopes to get your attention with the Aspire S7. The Aspire S7 is not the latest in the market as it came in late 2014 but if you also agree that old wine taste better then you've got yourself a good companion.

Packed in a portable 13 inch case, the S7 among other things offers zippy Haswell performance and a new high-definition WQHD display under the able leadership of Microsoft Windows 8.1. However, with a battery that holds charge for just 6 hours you may want to ask for more like Oliver Twist. But of course that will be if you attempt a comparison with Dell XPS 13.

THE DESIGN
I call it classy and stylish but I'm not sure what you will call this Aspire S7 which basically comes in a white and well polished casing whose lid is covered in Corning's Gorilla Glass 2, thus giving it a premium look.

Interestingly, despite the small build of the Aspire S7 Acer managed to pack it with all the necessary ports you will need for connectivity. This includes a HDMI-out port with HDCP support, an Acer Converter Port (which can be used with an adapter to support miniDisplay) and two USB 3.0 ports for faster media transfer.

The USB port on the right side even supports power-off charging so you can juice up your other devices without having to turn your laptop on .

GENERAL PERFORMANCE
The standard Acer Aspire S7 packs a 1.6-GHz Intel Core i5-4200U Haswell CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD), With this, the Aspire S7 has all the energy to handle daily tasks like surfing the Web, gaming or using multimedia facilities.

THE PRICE
The Aspire S7 Ultrabook with standard configuration as seen above starts at N280.000.
