Apple plans to cut the production of iPhone 6S due to weak sales

It is expected that Apple will cut the production of later versions of the smart phone iPhone 6S and 6S Plus by about 30% in the first quarter of this year due to growing inventories, according to reports from Japanese newspaper Nikkei, which raised the ire of investors and led to the decline in the company's shares.

This report claims that the expectations of Apple were higher than they should so that it has produced a large number of units in the quarter ended in December, a quarter in which they are issuing the iPhone 6S, As a result, Apple may have produced more units than they should resulting in increased of the inventory in light of the decline in demand at the beginning of this year.

The Reuters news agency quoted one of the suppliers for Apple's Taiwanese confirm the existence of a problem in the discharge of iPhone phones, as " market slowdown, is a reality" he said, has asked to remain anonymous because they do not comment on specific clients or secret agreements.
