Intex has expanded the Aqua family with the launch of Aqua Ace II, successor to the Aqua Ace and packs solid innards. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE connectivity including VoLTE (via a FOTA update in the coming weeks).
The Intex Aqua Ace II sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor w/ Mali T720 GPU, and comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, that supports microSD card expansion up to 32GB.
The camera department is handled by 8-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash. For clicking selfies and video calling you get a 5-megapixel front snapper.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE [TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) and FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz)], 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery and comes with MHL (Mobile High Definition Link), letting users mirror the handset on their television sets using the MHL cable.
For comparison it's predecessor, Aqua Ace, had 13-megapixel rear camera and 2300mAh battery, rest of the specs being similar.
The Intex Aqua Ace II is priced at Rs. 8,999 (Rs. 4,000 less than Aqua Ace) and comes in White and Golden colors. It will be available via offline and online stores soon.
