Samsung Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7 2016 edition to have metal body


Samsung's upcoming 2016 edition of Galaxy J5 and J7 has been in the news for quite some time now. Both the handset have already appeared on TENAA and GFXBenchmark, to have their specs outed. Now ahead of official announcement, press renders of both the handsets have hit interwebs.

The images posted above is of the Galaxy J7 2016, and J5 2016 will also have the same design except for the screen size. To check out more render hit the source links.

The leaked images shows the China Mobile version of Galaxy J5 (2016) and J7 (2016) with a metal unibody and a design similar to that of the premium Galaxy A 2016 lineup.

As per TENAA, Galaxy J5 and J7 2016 will run Android 5.1 Lollipop, support expandable storage and 4G LTE connectivity. Both could also come with fingerprint sensor, which will be built into the home button.

The Galaxy J5 2016 will have a 5.2-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP/5MP rear and front camera. The Galaxy J7 2016 is expected to comes with 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-ocre processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP rear and 5MP front facing camera.
