In today’s post we are highlighting three more apps to use for editing videos but these are primarily focused on adding text to your clips. Next time you create a video and want to illustrate it with subtitles and textual annotations, the apps below are great options to start with.
1- Overvideo
This is a cool video editor that allows you to add text in the form of subtitles to your videos. The app provides numerous stylish fonts to choose from. You simply select your clip, add your message, preview your final production and then share with others through social media or save it to your camera roll. You can also use Overvideo to add soundtrack and background songs to your videos.
2- Text on Video
This is another good iPad app to use to add text to your videos. You can choose from a huge library of awesome fonts, customize the size and color of your text, and apply editing features such as opacity, reflection and proportion. You can also add soundtracks from your library right into your videos. When your video is ready, save it to your iPad’s camera roll or share it via Facebook or Instagram.

This is a simple and easy to use app that allows you to add text to your videos. Some of its features include: over 400 fonts, ability to install other fonts, edit the size and color of text, change background colour of text, rotate or add curved text, add shadow color to your text and many more.
